Race 1 – 1:18PM BECOME AN MTC MEMBER NOW 3YO MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES)
BEYOND THE STORM has been racing well this prep, 2 starts back he was beaten by the classy
Jesmond at Canberra and was then run down again at Canberra on a day where you couldn’t be
running against the fence. That form looks good enough to take care of a field like this. Danny
Williams has an impeccable strike rate at Wagga and i expect it to continue here. BOXER CITY is
an interesting runner on debut here. He is a half brother to the smart Bossdon City who Brett
Cavanough also trains. His trials have been fair without being spectacular. I would advise to watch
the market moves regarding this runner, if he is to firm dramatically in the market that would be
showing stable confidence. SHARE THE PIE was a late scratching at Albury last week. He is coming in
with the Sumakaray form which has proved to be very hot in Victoria. He may have run into a few
smart horses here, but he is good enough to win this. VOLCANIC JESTER was very green on debut
and can improve here.
1 – BEYOND THE STORM
2 – BOXER CITY
5 – SHARE THE PIE
7 – VOLCANIC JESTER

Race 2 – 1:53PM BOB VAUGHAN APPRECIATION 4YO+ MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES)
STOCKPIN is having his 2nd start in Australia for Danny Williams here. In his first start he was sent out
a $2.50 favourite in a midweek race at Doomben. He was held up for a run between the 600 and 200
without ever getting clear and wasn’t pushed out in the run to the line. He has had 250 days since
that run and Danny Williams wouldn’t be bringing him across if he wasn’t ready to win here. SIENNA
SNIP will jump and run and give massive sight here. Yet again she has run into what looks to be a
smart galloper like last start she was beaten by 4 lengths but thrashed the rest of the field. She is the
one they have to catch. LIVING IMAGE sat just outside the leader in his first start at Benalla and just
ran out of condition after being tackled at the 200. He should strip fitter for that run and be right in
this. KETCHUM had a soft trial leading into this, his first race start. He has the blinkers applied for
this first start after not wearing them in the trial. He wasn’t knocked about in the trial and I expect a
forward showing.
10 – STOCKPIN (SCRATCHED)
9 – SIENNA SNIP
3 – LIVING IMAGE
2 – KETCHUM

Race 3 – 2:28PM MTC 100 CLUB GALA NIGHT ON 23/2 MAIDEN HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
IMPELLA had a soft trial in October before being put away. She comes into this without having any
trials this preparation before her first race start. Gate 10 is a concern from the 1200 start here. But
she should prove tough to beat. TOTALLY ALERT was ok at Albury last start without threatening. She
ran on well for 4th there. From gate 6 I expect her to jump and lead this field, wether she can hold
off the top selection is my only concern. PEBBLE LODGE was good at Cowra last start. She jumped
and led and was headed at the 200 and was beaten 6 lengths. Dropping back to the 1200 here is
a plus and she has her chance. YET TOBE CONVINCED raced wide without cover and never really
threatened at any stage in the run. Go back to her previous run at Albury and she ran on strongly at
the end. Back to her home track here she could run a drum at nice odds.
5 – IMPELLA
10 – TOTALLY ALERT
9 – PEBBLE LODGE
11 – YET TOBE CONVINCED

Race 4 – 3:03PM XXXX SUMMER BRIGHT LAGER COUNTRY CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (1800 METRES)
ARMANESSY gets out to a distance that he has been looking for all preparation. Forgive his last start
where he was wide and over raced. Go back to the start before that when he got the job done in fine

style over 1600. Drawn gate 6 here, he should be able to jump and dictate terms and prove hard to
run down. TEDIZ was storming home last start and just ran out of ground. He jumps sharply to the
1800 here, the 2kg claim from Kristen Smart is an advantage as he carries the same weight as some
of the maidens. He will be hitting the line strongly and has his chance. EMPHATIC was solid last start
at Mudgee without being spectacular. He seems to be a grinding sort of horse, so the jump to the
1800 helps here. He will be on the speed and has his chance. LE COMMANDO loomed up to win at
Canberra last start and just wacked away. Stepping up to the 1800 is in its advantage here as you
don’t need that lethal turn of foot here. He should be thereabouts again.
1 – ARMANESSY
7 – TEDIZ
3 – EMPHATIC
6 – LE COMMANDO

Race 5 – 3:40PM TELSTRA BUSINESS CENTRE BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (2000 METRES)
PRODIGAL ROCKER was good behind Lucky Lucky Lucky last start at Goulburn. Lucky Lucky Lucky has
since gone on and placed in the city which is good form for this. He sat 3 wide during the run and he
payed for it at the end of the run. The run was full of merit though and he should just about win this.
SURZEAL has been in fantastic form this preparation. He drops in class here but goes up 5.5kgs for
his last start run. Nevertheless he should give a good sight here in his favoured position of leading.
MISS TA TA was very strong to the line last start. His last 150 looked to be her best as she hit the line
hard when running away from the field. Up in class and distance here, she has her chance. SHOUT IT
OUT was too bad to be true last start. Ill forgive her for that run as she is dropping well in grade here
and is only 1 kilo over the minimum after the claim for Kayla Nisbet. Her best form is at Wagga and
she wouldn’t shock winning here.
2 – PRODIGAL ROCKER (SCRATCHED)
1 – SURZEAL
8 – MISS TA TA
5 – SHOUT IT OUT

Race 6 – 4:20PM BBQ’S GALORE BENCHMARK 70 HANDICAP (1000 METRES)
CLUB ZERO was very strong to the line last start when winning at Albury. He drops 0.5kg for that
winning effort. He has a solid record at the track and distance and will be hard to beat. GREY DRAMA
will jump and run here. He flies over the 1000 and 2nd up. He stays at the 1000m distance 2nd up
here and will be hard to hold out. WHO’S PAYING is first up here. He progressed to city grade at the
end of his last preparation and was not disgraced. He takes a run to get going most preps but he
is a smart horse and can’t be left out. TARRABANDRA usually takes a run or two to get going each
preparation. He is first up here but is the class galloper of the field and cannot be taken lightly.
5 – CLUB ZERO
3 – GREY DRAMA
2 – WHO’S PAYING
1 – TARRABANDRA

Race 7 – 5:00PM RUNDLES AUCTIONS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
EXTREME SHOT was in the worst part of the track last start and couldn’t run on. His form this prep
has been quite solid and in an open race he has his chance. SWISH ON BY was 5 wide coming into
the straight last start and ran on nicely there. He has drawn wide here, but in what looks a weaker
race he has to be respected here. READY SET made up good ground last start at Wagga. It was a day
where you had to be right up on the speed and he made up a lot of ground late without threatening.
Stepping up to the 1400 here he has his chance here. CASUAL ZARIZ was enormous last start at
Albury. There was good money for him and he flew late to just miss in a 3 way finish. Back to his
home track here, weather he is able to produce that kind of run again is the only concern, but he has

to be considered.
5 – EXTREME SHOT
4 – SWISH ON BY
10 – READY SET
8 – CASUAL ZARIZ

Race 8 – 5:40PM RUNDLES AUCTIONS BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
CONSOLING AMY has been absolutely dominant in his last 2 starts. Last start at Wagga on a day
where it was next to impossible to make up ground he came from 2nd last on the turn to race away
and win by 3 lengths. He goes down half a kilo for that run and should win this yet again. REDLINGO
was good last start. He ran on solidly for 2nd, he has had a month between runs here and steps up to
the 1400 here. He can’t be taken lightly here. CECCANTI steps up to a more suitable distance here he
ran on well at Albury last start. The step up to the 1400 suits here and he has a chance. REXZEAL is at
his pet trip of 1400 here. Though he hasn’t been winning of late he has been thereabouts and should
do the same yet again.
1 – CONSOLING AMY
9 – REDLINGO
5 – CECCANTI
4 –REXZEAL

Race 9 – 6:20PM NATURAL HEALTH & HEALING CENTRE CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1200 METRES)
SAND DUNE had a poor recovery rate last start at Canberra when disappointing as favourite. You
go back to his last preparation when he was running well in city class races. He comes to Wagga
where he is unbeaten at the track and the distance. He carries only 60kgs here in a class race, when
he would be carrying a lot more if this was a benchmark race. He has drawn well in 7 and should be
very hard to hold out. OUR ANGELINA has proven to be a bridesmaid as of late running 2 nd 5 times
in her last 6 starts. She is well in the weights here but the wide gate from the 1200 is my concern.
She is very consistent and will be in the finish yet again. ADENARIUS got his nose down on the line
last start and held on. He has drawn well here and will be up on the speed and tough to hold out. SIR
KING PRAWN got rid of the maiden tag last start. He was crunched in the betting and lived up to that
when winning. While the margin wasn’t big he will strip a lot fitter for that run and be in the finish
again.
1 – SAND DUNE
4 – OUR ANGELINA
5 – ADENARIUS
13 – SIR KING PRAWN
